Miceli Garden Trains & Fountains LLC was established in 2005 by Joseph C Miceli. Joseph's goal is to share two of his strongest and lifetime talents and passions, creating Water Features (Waterfalls, Creeks, Fish Ponds, Gardens Fountains), and beautiful animated train and village Model Railroad Displays both indoors and outdoors, in your home, commercial business, and at special events.

Outdoors, enjoy the chug and chuff sounds of a G Scale Garden Train crossing a pristine creek, rolling through flowers, trees and rocks, to your own tranquil waterfall, and peaceful fish pond. Indoors, enjoy elaborate 3D highly detailed landscapes, creative village life like animation, live waterfalls, and high tech model train operations. I also design and build wall shelf train displays and ceiling hung train displays for all Model Train Gauges.

Joseph followed in the Miceli Family tradition, spanning four generations, of building and operating beautiful, elaborate train displays. Joseph has spent countless hours, a life time, traveling on trains, gardening, hiking, climbing, camping, fishing, and skiing, enjoying nature at its very best. As a teenager through adult, Joseph uniquely designed and recreated natures highlights in fine detail building fish ponds, creeks, waterfalls, and fountains, all based on his peaceful, beautiful memories, nature provided over the years.

The Miceli Family worked together designing and building every part of the grand train displays. Joseph's Grand Father, Louis, born in Italy, a Cabinet Maker and Carpenter by trade, passed down his trade ideas and skills to Joseph’s father teaching him how to build model houses, buildings, bridges, mountains, and tunnels, using all types of materials. Joseph’s father, Joseph Sr. who was a great fan of trains would take the family on train trips, a few times a year, across the United States and Canada and spent tireless hours with the family, many times till 3:00AM, in the morning, building spectacular train displays, in all train scales, once again, passing down the family skills to the next generation. Joseph Jr. most interested, learned everything he could and has also passed down the skills, knowledge, and traditions to his two children, Matthew and Jessica who continue the traditions. Today, the Miceli’s build high tech animated displays both, indoors and outdoors, using Bluetooth technology, digital decoders, DCC technology, MTS Systems, and Legacy systems for trains while incorporating four generations of knowledge and creativity. We bring you "Limitless Imagination and Endless Creativity!”

Joseph worked professionally with trains for years with LGB of America, a large German Manufacturer of G Scale Trains. Joseph was the Customer Service Manager, responsible for the North American Division of LGB, Customer Sales and Service Center, Technical Call Center, Product Repair Center, and Distribution Center. One of the most enjoyable experiences was working on the Disney's Epcot Center Display in the German Village, building, repairing, and performing sales promotions of G scale trains to folks at Disney's Epcot Center in Florida.

In April 2010, Joseph introduced trains to City Lights Year Round Christmas & Collectibles Emporium in San Diego, CA. Joseph built a year round O Gauge and G Scale trains business display, a massive, beautiful, extremely detailed, highly animated, Department 56 multi-village Train Display. It features hundreds of integrated products and ideas to purchase for your own display. City Lights is one of the largest and most established Collectables Stores in San Diego, over 25 years in business. Joseph is the train sales, technical, and service consultant and Sales Agent working together with City Lights Year Round Christmas & Collectibles Emporium.

Since founding Miceli Gardens Trains and Fountains LLC in 2005 Joseph has built many amazing Commercial Displays for Old Poway Park, Liberty Station, Bernardo Winery, Candy Depot, City Lights Year Round Christmas & Collectibles Emporium, and Rady Children's Hospital, and hundreds of beautiful private in home displays.
